Notable achievements: Champion work-rider early this decade. Won the inaugural Work Riders’ Challenge in 2009 and again in 2010. Currently joint second on the work-riders’ log and 23.8% of his mounts have won. Any punter who put R1 on each of his mounts (August 1 2009 to 3 May 2010) would have made a R15.40 profit.

Work experience: Has travelled to Dubai as work rider to trainer Mike de Kock and worked in Korea for several months in 2009.
