The track was completed in 1955 and the racing operator received a totalizer permit in 1957.
Lapland’s pearl, The Lyckseletravet is one of the country’s idyllic smaller summer courses. Three race days are run here every year during the same week in July. The trot week usually attracts a large audience and many tourists travel to attend the iconic festival.
