The track in the Arvika district was built in 1954. It is one of only five 800-meter courses and has the second shortest homestretch at 114 meters.
The course is run by the country’s oldest trotting company, Wermlands Trafvarsällskap, which was formed as early as 1882.
Arvika is a seasonal course that hosts racing during the summer. The highlight of the season is Arvika’s Jubileum Race, which has been run since 1992. The Arvika Travet is one of three courses in Värmland. The other two are Färjestad and Årjäng.
